Daily deli items
We stock lots of day to day essentials including freshly baked breads, handmade pork pies, scotch eggs, samosas and onion bhajis. If you are looking for a slightly more Mediterranean feel then we also have a fresh olive bar including fresh basil pesto, humous and homemade coleslaw.
Sauces & Relishes
We have an extensive range of chutneys, relishes and pickles from carefully selected suppliers. We have British staples such as piccalilli and ploughman’s pickle through to slightly more cosmopolitan flavours such as apricot & ginger, beetroot & horseradish and chillilli.
Meats
Our meat counter has an array of homecooked meats including honey roast ham, rare roast beef and roast turkey as well as charcuterie from Italy, Spain and Hungary. Alongside our meats we also have a range of the award winning Patchwork patés.
Chocolates & Biscuits
We have local chocolatier who makes a fantastic range of luxury handmade truffles and luxury chocolate bars in a variety of flavours. Also available is a more contemporary range of truffles as well as luxurious hot chocolate and delicious chocolate honeycomb. For a true after dinner treat we have the amazing peppermint creams from the amazing Summerdown. Our biscuits are available in everyday packaging for that well deserved afternoon tea and biscuits as well as more luxurious gifting tins and boxes. Our suppliers include Lottie Shaws, Fudges, Deans, Border and Farmhouse Biscuits.
Coffees & Teas
Our fresh coffees are all supplied in beans and can be ground to your specific requirements depending on the type of machine you are using.
Are coffees include No.1 House Blend, French Continental, Italian, High Roast, Colombian, Espresso, Brazilian, Kenya AA and Decaffeinated.
Bread
Locally baked breads are delivered daily from an award-winning Polish bakery.
Some of our breads include Chorlton Sourdough, French, Black, Rye, Danish, Biegles, Campagrain, Toscana, Plaits, Margherita and barmcakes. Also available in very limited quantities is a traditional soda bread.

I have been selling cheese for 35 years, so you could say I know my way around a cheese board. I have travelled far and wide both searching for new cheeses to bring back to the store as well as judging at countless national and international cheese competitions.
Favourite Cheese – Very tough question as it depends on the time of year! I would suggest Colston Bassett Mature Stilton or Le Premier Cru Gruyere during the colder winter months but move to Quickes Extra Mature Cheddar, Brie de Meaux or an Ashlynn during the summer months.
Top Tip – My top tip for a successful cheeseboard would be to not take too many varieties. Choose four or five cheeses mixing strengths, flavours, textures, colours and milk types. Garnish the board using complementary fresh and dry fruits, leaving any strong flavoured chutneys on the side. Membrillo style pastes work extremely well as they have milder flavours that do not overpower the cheeses and allow them to shine.
