All our goods (except gift vouchers) are delivered by our courier service. Deliveries are available Tuesday through Friday throughout the UK mainland.
A signature will be required for the delivery receipt so please ensure that somebody will be available to sign for the goods on the day of delivery between 8.00 am and 6.00 pm. All goods are sent on an overnight service and should arrive the day after dispatch however during peak periods there might a small delay which unfortunately is out of our control. All our hampers are dispatched in cool boxes and will maintain their freshness for 48 hours in transit. We will endeavour to deliver your hamper on the day requested however this cannot be guaranteed.
We can arrange for parcels to be delivered to places of work, neighbours etc. at no extra charge, but unfortunately specific timed deliveries and Saturday morning deliveries will have surcharges applied – please contact us for a quote.
The courier offers a fully tracked service and a link will be emailed upon despatch.
Gift vouchers are dispatched using Royal Mail’s 1st Class post.
Non mainland UK delivery
Unfortunately, we are currently unable to arrange delivery to international destinations, (this also includes but is not exclusive to, Northern Ireland, Scottish Highlands and Islands, Isles of Man and Isles of Scilly).

The Cheese Hamlet is an independently owned and operated business based in Manchester, UK. As such all contracts will be made under English law and subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England & Wales.
Most of our cheeses are handmade artisanal cheeses that are subject to environmental and seasonal variances which include but not exclusive to size, colour, flavour, texture and availability. Our products are then cut and prepared in-store by hand by one of our cheese mongers which may lead to further variances and while we guarantee that the overall weight supplied will be equal to or more than the advertised weight there may be variances in each individual weight supplied.
We provide allergen information on all the products we supply. This well be included on the label applied to each product and while we strive to ensure that this information is correct, we cannot be held responsible for incorrect or missing information. Most of our products are prepared in-store which does contain and handle allergens that may not be listed on the ingredients or allergen information and as such may contain traces of declarable allergens.
Once orders are received, we will aim to dispatch the order as soon as possible. Orders are dispatched Monday to Thursday via an overnight courier service for delivery Tuesday to Friday. Please ensure that someone is available to sign for your delivery as a signature will be required. Instructions to leave the parcel in a safe place or with a neighbour can be made however we cannot guarantee this will be possible as the final decision will be taken by the delivery driver on the day.
Delivery to work or alternate address can be arranged at no further cost. We do not currently offer international delivery.
All prices shown on the site are in GBP and include VAT (where applicable) at the prevailing rate. The company reserve the right to alter any prices or specifications at any time without notice and the goods will be subject to the price ruling on the day of dispatch. Customers will be notified if the price charged is different from the published price at the point of ordering and will be given the option to cancel the order without penalty.
Please contact us immediately at firstname.lastname@example.org or 0161 4344781 if you wish to cancel an order after it has been placed. As orders for perishable goods are actioned as soon as practicably possible after receipt, we reserve the right not to accept your cancelation request. If your cancelation request is accepted, we will arrange for any money paid to be refunded to the original payment source as soon as possible.
Returns & refunds
As most of our products are perishable returns are usually only accepted if the supplied goods are faulty or damaged. Any request for a return or claims for a refund must be made within 24 hours or receipt of the goods. Perishable items should be kept chilled until written acceptance of any claim has been received from us. All packaging should be kept for inspection by the couriers in cases of claim for damage.
